O circuito espacial da produção de seringueira: a tecnologia e a Michelin como principal agente do circuito

Abstract

Utilizando-se do conceito de circuito espacial da produção no espaço, esta pesquisa aborda a produção da borracha natural no circuito mundial, inter-relacionando o cultivo da seringueira com as demais fases da produção, circulação e consumo dos cerca de quarenta mil produtos derivados, com destaque para o de pneu e sua importância como objeto indispensável ao transporte rodoviário, aeroviário e aéreo que coloca em movimento bens, seres e informações fundamentais no atual período técnico-científico-informacional. Além dos 900 milhões de automóveis utilizados como instrumento de locomoção e circulação diária em todo o espaço global. Aborda a distribuição geográfica da produção da borracha natural e respectivamente da seringueira, destacando a concentração nas regiões paulista, matogrossense e baiana, com cerca de 80% da produção na etapa brasileira do circuito e a concentração na etapa asiática, com 90% da produção no circuito mundial. Nesse contexto se analisa as relações estabelecidas entre os agentes hegemônicos e não hegemônicos do circuito e os agentes do círculo de cooperação no espaço na região do Baixo Sul da Bahia do circuito, onde se processa as fases iniciais ou atividades primárias até a fase intermediária caracterizada pela produção de borracha seca ou Granulado Escuro Brasileiro GEB 1, que é enviado para a fase de produção de pneus no Rio de Janeiro e dos demais objetos em outras etapas do circuito.

ABSTRACT Utilizing the concept of spatial circuit of production in space, the object of this research is the production of natural rubber within the global circuit, interrelating the rubber tree cultivation with the other phases of production, circulation and the consumption of its derived products, with emphasis on the tire and its importance as indispensable object for road, air and aerial transportation assuring the movement of goods, people and key information within the current technical-scientific-informational period. Furthermore, it is necessary to 900 million cars which are used as instrument of locomotion and daily circulation worldwide. The geographical distribution of the natural rubber production and the rubber tree respectively are addressed, highlighting its concentration in the stages of the States of São Paulo, Mato Grosso and Bahia which represents about 80% of the production in the Brazilian stage of the circuit. Within this context, it is more specifically evaluated the sociospatial implications of the relations established between the hegemonic and non-hegemonic agents of the circuit as well as the agents of the circle of cooperation in space in the stage of the Lower Southern region of the State of Bahia, where the production takes place from the early phases or primary activities up to the intermediate phase characterized by the production of dry rubber or dark Brazilian granulate, product which is sent to the phase of the production of tires in Rio de Janeiro and all the other objects in other stages of the circuit.
