Multimodalidade de transportes de cargas na Bahia: um breve diagnóstico

Abstract

O presente trabalho traz como justificativa, recapitular a importância de se pensar o transporte de carga na Bahia de forma integrada, fomentando assim uma discussão mais clara sobre os problemas de infraestrutura no território, focando no sistema multimodal de transporte de cargas.

Bahia has shown bottlenecks charge transport infrastructure, thus creating an inefficient transport system for the state. So, this paper aims to deal with cargo transportation multimodality in this territory, bringing again the discussion on integrated logistics, to think of a higher quality cargo transportation for the region. For this, it will have as objective to present the main opportunities and obstacles to investment in the sector, showing whether or not long-term planning and what this implies in attracting private investment. Showing that, Bahia presents problems in planning as divergence between what is planned at the federal and state levels, thus causing a gap in the coordination of planning between such bodies; besides, public administrators, the state itself, carry out works without take into account the planning done before. As also shown an uncertain regulatory environment and constantly changing. That is, in attracting private investment, the state of Bahia has an insecure environment for the investor, that is, the attractiveness is minimal for privateinvestment in transport infrastructure in the state.
