Relações de gênero na caserna: significados dos sujeitos militares no Exército Brasileiro

Abstract

A presente pesquisa trata da incorporação de oficiais, homens e mulheres militares de carreira, não combatentes no Exército Brasileiro, instruídos e treinados juntos em estabelecimentos de ensino de formação militar. A questão norteadora do trabalho sobre as relações de gênero na caserna teve o intuito de analisar a articulação que envolve o sistema de ensino e compõe as estruturas de formação militar e a realidade social que amplia as possibilidades de inserção no mercado de trabalho, permitindo a absorção das mulheres na Força Terrestre. Em nossa investigação, a proposta foi discutir e buscar, na dialética das interações sociais das relações de gênero, as subjetividades que se desenvolvem em um ambiente de trabalho específico: a caserna. Assim, compreendemos que, ao restringir o ponto de vista entre o feminino e o masculino em sua “essência” de natureza humana/anátomo-fisiológica, e na constituição de atitudes e comportamentos sociais determinados pela biologia de seus corpos, admitimos encobrir uma série de representações e possibilidades de participação das mulheres no Exército Brasileiro dentro dos quadros e serviços, fora da linha de ensino bélica na vida castrense. Além disto, ao favorecer as discussões das relações de poder ali constituídas, oferecemos a oportunidade de dar foco a questões relevantes para repensar os sujeitos não como representações engessadas, porém, para tornar manifesto o conteúdo das práticas do feminino e do masculino que reelaboram o cotidiano do ambiente militar em seu saber e fazer.

This research deals with the incorporation of men and women soldiers, non-combatants, the Brazilian Army, educated and trained together in schools of military education. The guiding question of work on gender relations in the barracks was designed to examine the relationship involving the education system and the structures composed of military training and social reality that expands the possibilities of entering the labor market, allowed the absorption of women in Ground Force. In our research, the proposal was to discuss and seek the dialectics of social interactions between men and women military, representations and subjectivities that develop in a particular work environment: the barracks. Thus, we understand that by restricting the view between the feminine and masculine in its “essence” of human nature/anatomic-physiologic, and the constitution of social attitudes and behavior determined by the biology of their bodies admitted covering up a series of representations and possibilities of women's participation in the Brazilian Army and services within the frames out of line teaching war in military life. Furthermore, by fostering discussions of power relations established there, offering the opportunity to focus on issues relevant to rethink the subject not as representations plastered, but make manifest content of the practices of female and male rework the everyday environment military in their knowledge and practice.
