Pelo vestígio: uma poética artística tendo o cabelo como conectivo entre o eu e o outro

Abstract

Este texto disserta sobre um processo de criação artística que utiliza o cabelo humano como matéria-prima. Tendo como gênese dessa utilização a ação de guardar as próprias mechas e as de outras pessoas desde a infância, esse pelo é entendido como um conectivo físico direto entre a artista e o dono da mecha, sendo visto como vestígio desse outro ser. A dissertação está dividida em quatro capítulos. O primeiro capítulo aborda as questões conceituais sobre a matéria cabelo e suas significações dentro da poética. O percurso de pesquisa e o trabalho artístico anterior ao período do mestrado é revisitado no segundo capítulo, objetivando contextualizar a utilização dessa matéria-prima dentro da poética, assim como seus desdobramentos investigativos, para então dar início, no terceiro capítulo às reflexões acerca da série “Pelo vestígio” e dos outros trabalhos desenvolvidos, assim como a metodologia empregada, aproximações estéticas e a exposição de conclusão. Nas reflexões finais, são retomados alguns pontos de discussão da pesquisa para esboçar seus possíveis aprofundamentos.

This text talks about the artistic creation process that uses human hair as raw material. The genesis of this use is the action of keeping one's own locks and that of others since childhood. This hair is understood as a direct physical connective between the artist and the owner of the lock, seeing it as a vestige of this other being. The dissertation is divided into four chapters. The first chapter addresses the conceptual issues surrounding the hair matter and their meanings within poetics. The research and artistic work path prior to the master's period is revisited in the second chapter, aiming to contextualize the use of this raw material within poetics, as well as its investigative developments, to then start reflections on the series in the third chapter. “Pelo vestígio” and the other works developed, as well as the methodology used, aesthetic approaches and the conclusion exhibition. In the final reflections, some discussion points of the research are resumed in order to outline possible further research.
