Abstract

The present work is part of the area of ​​Migration Studies and human rights, which anchored in Comparative Literature captures through the imbrications of the literary text and of its relations with writing, orality and other languages, the configurations of a shared community – Brazil and Senegal. From an interpretive qualitative approach and quantitative, ethnographic basis, with a participant observation, under the methods of approach of dialectical materialism related to cultural studies, dialogues the work of field, the empirical basis, with the conceptual basis for the analysis of oral testimonies. migrants Senegalese face, in Salvador/BA, the task of erasing, in their resocialization in the new nation, the traces set in the national imagination, as to homogenization of African ethnicities and the erasure of the antecedents to the enslavement of these peoples, because in Brazil the identity is intertwined with the skin tone, prioritizing the social relations, the “racial” connotation of identity, which establishes an instrument of basic social classification of the population (QUIJANO, 2005). The Senegalese presence a cartography of multiplicities, considering the territory not only as a lived space, but from the perspective of a place where these migrants can build and capture representations, behaviors of times and in social, cultural and aesthetic spaces, in this territory (GUATTARI; ROLNIK, 1996). In this perspective, we analyze how migration contemporary, by Senegalese, has established the updating of shares and cultural updates that guarantee their human rights in Soterópolis.
