Racismo e desvio existencial em Fanon: entre o grande erro branco e a miragem negra

Abstract

The present work has theme such as relationships inaugurated by the colonial situation from the analysis presented by Frantz Fanon in his work Black skin, white masks (2008). Following the philosophical implications raised by the author, we seek to understand the impact of racism on the relationship between colonizers and colonized and its consequences for black subjectivity in the modern world. The colonial situation is responsible for a historical conditioning that created difficulties in the relationship between blacks and whites through the racialization of these bodies and their distinction between bottom and upper. The end of slavery is presented by the author as a transformation of social relations that, by the way it was carried out, did not allow the effective recognition of the humanity of the ancients slaves. As a result of this interdiction of recognition, Fanon identifies the existential deviation caused by racism as the determination of the black person's being by his appearance. We will seek to understand the dilemmas that this external overdetermination imposes on black subjectivity as well as the ways proposed by the Martinican psychiatrist and philosopher for a possible overcoming of this historical conditioning.
